School Psychology Practicum Experiences

School Psychology Practicum Experiences
School Psychology Practicum placements provide students with experiences that meet NASP, CASP and University/IHE requirements and professional standards.
 
Practicum placements follow the LAUSD Instructional Calendar and typically require a two day per week commitment.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Enrollment in a Master’s/Education Specialist/Doctoral program in School/Educational Psychology and pursuing a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential
  • Hold a Certificate of Clearance issued from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Application Requirements
  • Letter of Intent
  • Current Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Certificate of Clearance issued from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Unofficial Transcripts (including all undergraduate and graduate coursework
    completed to date)
 
Applications for School Psychology Practicum are to be submitted no later than Friday, March 6, 2026, at 5:00p.m. via the 2026-2027 School Year School Psychology Practicum Application Link.
 
Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee an interview. Interviews are contingent on available opportunities for select candidates who meet the minimum state requirements for practicum eligibility.
