A Message from the Division of Special Education
This April, in honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we proudly recognize the amazing staff at Toluca Lake Elementary and Compton Avenue Elementary for their dedication to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for all students—especially those with autism.
We also want to thank all the schools that hosted events, rallies, and activities to promote understanding and celebrate differences. Your efforts make a big difference in helping every child feel seen, valued, and supported.
Let’s keep the momentum going! Together, we can continue to build a community where inclusion and acceptance are part of everyday life.
