Transition: Life After High School

This session provides an overview of transition services within LAUSD, outlining their purpose and key components in preparing students with disabilities for postsecondary education, employment, and independent living. Participants will learn about transition planning supports embedded within the educational system, as well as the supports and services provided by the District Office of Transition Services. The session also explores community-based resources and agency partnerships that support students’ successful transition into adulthood.
